About PCJSS

Parbatya Chattagram Jana Samhati Samiti (PCJSS) is the only political organization of the eleven multilingual indigenous Jumma people of Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), southeastern part of Bangladesh. It is established on 15th February 1972 with its humanitarian ideology that based on the principles of the Nationalism, Democracy, Secularism, Equality and Social Justice. The founder of the PCJSS was the forerunner of the renaissance of the Jumma people, the member of the then Gona Parishad (Constituent Assembly) and the Parliament Mr. Manabandra Narayan Larma.
