Photo with arms taken forcefully by army in Nakkhyangchari
On 21/01/2006 Major Abdul Awal of Nakkhyangchari BDR camp of 40 Battalion called following persons to the camp and took video recording with arms. In the video recording, the two Jummas were treated as ‘tribal miscreants’ and two Bengali Muslims as ‘Rohingya miscreants’. For this acting as miscreants, they were given Taka 200 for each. The victims were:
1) Mr. Chailung Aung Marma (50) s/o late Mongkhyoiri Marma of Dhungri Headman Para of Douchari union under Nakkhyangchari upazila
2) Mr. Mongcha Hla Marma of Dhungri Headman Para of Douchari union under Nakkhyangchari upazila
3) Md. Mukhtar Ahmad of Douchari union under Nakkhyangchari upazila
4) Md. Jafar of Douchari union under Nakkhyangchari upazila.
